Best Jailbreak Cydia Tweaks For iOS/iPad 13.5 of 2020
Now that both checkra1n and unc0ver support iOS/iPad 13.5, the latest available firmware from Apple at the time of this writing, it seems more compelling than ever for jailbreak hopefuls to join the pwned life. If you pulled the trigger and now have a jailbroken handset at your disposal, then there’s only one thing left to do: modify it in ways that will have members of Apple’s controlling software department pulling out their hair by the roots. Not sure what to install just yet? No problem! We’ll show you what we think are some of the best Cydia Tweaks iOS 13.5 in this piece.
The default Control Centre in iOS is quite limiting, and it’s really surprising that Apple doesn’t allow you to add/remove custom toggles. FlipControlCentre brings this much-sought feature to Jailbroken iOS devices with the ability to add/remove/rearrange new toggles including Cellular data, Low power, and Personal Hotspot. You can also add/remove/rearrange apps in the bottom pane of the Control center. It also adds some neat options for customizing the number of toggles on a page on the basis of device orientation.
Peek-a-boo brings the 3D Touch functionality on older versions of the iPhone including the iPhone 6, 6 Plus, and the iPhone 5s. It works on notifications, Home screen icons, and pretty much inside every app that supports 3D Touch. Whilst there are a lot of tweaks that enable 3D Touch on older iPhones, it is the only one updated to work with iOS 10.2 Jailbreak as of writing.
In the Settings, you can change the sensitivity, and choose to enable/disable Haptic feedback on Peek and Pop functions. It works surprisingly well, and if you need more details on installing and configuring Peek-a-boo, we’ve already done a separate article on how to use Peek-a-boo to bring 3D Touch functionality on older iPhones.
Available for $0.99 from the Twickd repository, Arc is a beautiful shortcut tweak for iOS 13 that lets you get to your favorite apps and access vital toggles from a single interface that you can invoke from anywhere in iOS.
- Lock Apps
One of the best Cydia tweaks provided by iOS 13.5 unc0ver jailbreak is the ability to lock applications on iPhones. Though iOS is one of the most mainstream operating systems for mobile platforms, it lacks the ability to lock individual applications. Cydia enables jailbroken devices to install third-party applications like BioProtect XS which enables users to lock installed apps. The Cydia tweak also uses Face ID or Touch ID so users do not have to enter their security pins every time.
The Marina Cydia tweak allows you to change the look and feel of the iPhone dock.
- Creamy 2
With Cream 2 jailbreak tweak you can customize the color of Control Center toggles.
Malipo Cydia tweak allows you to change the default chime sound.
With this tweak, you’ll be able to easily reboot, respring, and shut down your iDevice in one swipe. This Cydia tweak is essentially for those who often need a reboot and respring their iPhone.
